Kitsat is a unique educational package that consists of a satellite kit and learning materials. With Kitsat, high school, university students and hobbyists can learn real space technology for a fraction of the cost. Kitsat needed a brand identity that conveys the do-it-yourself spirit and joy of learning that stand at the center of Kitsat. Our logo design resulted in a unique visual look that reflects Kitsat.
As much as a satellite kit
At the kick-off workshop we clarified Kitsat’s brand strategy and target groups. We defined the main target groups as students, teachers and hobbyists. The brand identity and logo design needed to serve all aforementioned groups while not looking too technical or serious. The star symbolizes the builder, their excitement and learning. The yellow cube represents the physical building block, the satellite itself. When combined, these two elements make Kitsat.
