What did they want?

Vaana is a Finnish family business whose goal is to guard the well-being of Finns by improving the ease of our social and health services. Vaana was searching for a WordPress theme development partner, someone who could create a website that could be easily updated and work on every device and browser.

WHAT DID WE DO?

In this project we built a UX-strategy, defined buyer personas and the buyer journey, that matched the WordPress theme development. Building these parts brought new views to the project when designing the website’s information structure.

 

In addition, we focused on the function of the site on different devices and browsers as it was most important that Vaana’s services are simple to find on any device. Creating trust and showing Vaanas solutions were at the center of designing the site.

Graphic design

The site’s design had to serve many kinds of users. Clearly communicating Vaanas solutions was especially important. We had to keep in mind the different browsers that users might be using. Almost half of Vaanas users use Internet Explorer, therefore the layout had to look good and be working in all broswers.

Easily manageable site

Above all, it was important that Vaana’s staff could simply create new pages for their services and easily update the website. So we built the site on top of WordPress with a theme that is easy to update. Now Vaana can create new sub pages and campaign pages at any time.

"We had a bidding race between some suppliers, from which we chose Kokku to renew our website. The goal was to create a responsive site that would be possible to develop further with no coding skills. Kokku delved into our stakeholders, business model and goals. They surprised us by creating a significantly more fresh website by implementing our already existing brand materials!"
